J.H. finished The Route to Infinity lecture series. She says: "I learned that raising ARC [Affinity, Reality and Communication: the components of understanding] and cause across my dynamics [the eight urges, drives or impulses of life] is a gradual rise and key to that is finding and getting off overts [harmful acts] against those dynamics. Surviving Better

J.H. completed the Science of Survival book and lectures course. He says: “This was a fantastic book and course. I learned how to apply the Chart of Human Evaluation and got a deeper understanding of the theory of how the spirit relates to the material world.”

Dissolving Problems!

JH completed Expanded Grade I. This is an auditing level where the preclear gains the ability to recognize the actual source of problems, at which point they cease to be problems.
He says, "Expanded Grade One was a cycle that has given me an ability which I know I will use for the rest of my existence. It has dissolved barriers that I once had and I am no longer being held back from myself. I am not saying I'm now perfect, but I am much more free. I love it!"

Learning about thought, emotion and effort

SP completed the course Thought, Emotion and Effort. He says, "This course was a joy to accomplish. The course combined with the lectures presented mass amounts of information that took some time to understand fully but became very real once I grasped it. Teenager understanding ethics

MW completed a course on Ethics and says, "The Ethics Book has been an amazing course. It has broadened my knowledge of what reason, ethics, responsibility and the eight dynamics are as well as how to properly apply them. Although these lessons were immeasurably helpful, the most significant part of this course has been the explanation of overts and withholds and all that follows. I now know why I am others can sometimes act so unreasonably after a petty mistake/bad act. This knowledge has shown me how to handle people, including myself, incredibly better. I have thoroughly enjoyed as well as benefitted from The Ethics Book and highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, no matter your age or experience level."

Postpartum Depression

"THE MOTHERS ACT: A VIOLATION OF INFORMED CONSENT

The Melanie Stokes Postpartum Depression Research and Care Act, also known as the Mothers Act, is a federal bill named after Melanie Stokes, a woman who suffered emotional difficulties after giving birth and was subsequently prescribed a cocktail of intensely controversial psychiatric drugs including anti-psychotic, anti-anxiety, and anti-depressant drugs (documented by the US FDA to cause worsening depression, mania and suicidal ideation) before being subjected to electroshock treatment.

Melanie Stokes was in the mental health system, was prescribed drugs, was hospitalized, was subjected to the still barbaric practice of electroshock and then committed suicide. That is what the mental health industry did for a new mother named Melanie Stokes. It is incredible that a story such as this does not raise alarm bells within Congress on the negligence of prescribing cocktails of psychiatric drugs to new mothers, drugs documented by the US FDA and international drug regulatory agencies to cause worsening depression, depersonalization, mania, psychosis, suicidal and homicidal ideation. Conversely the bill before Congress entitled the "Mothers Act", which already passed the House of Representatives and is now before the Senate, will assuredly increase new mothers being prescribed these deadly drugs, the most common treatment for women diagnosed with postpartum depression...."

Route to Infinity Course

MC just completed the lecture course "Route to Infinity." He said, "This is my second time listening to these lectures. I got more understanding of facsimiles and how to disintegrate them and how they really work."

Art

CW completed The Art Book course and said, "This course has honestly been the best I have ever studied. All of the information was mind-blowingly helpful to me. I wanted to frame every page of the book! It was particularly useful because I'm fairly involved in the arts. This course was truly amazing, applicable and just enjoyable overall."

Communication

LW completed the course, Success Through Communication. He said, "I found many weaknesses in myself in terms of communication. Many inappropriate tones, gestures and facial expressions were discovered. These had given someone with whom I was having a conversation wrong ideas. After we found them and made appropriate adjustmants, I feel more confident in delivering my messages to people and to audiences."

Changed viewpoint about life

A person serving time in prison has been studying the Problems of Work book and wrote this to us:
Has this course changed my viewpoint about life? Yes, I believe it has. I've always been fond of work but I like to set my own terms. This course has changed the way I think about work. It has made me more aware of the whole machine and of my part in it. I've learned to look at my part in the work I do as being important, even it at first it doesn't seem so for me. I always believed that work in any form is important to a healthy life and your teschings have reaffirmed that.
I am also more conscious of my surroundings and my spere of influence. I believe that, yes, it has changed my viewpoint on life and my part and purpose in it.
I do believe I conduct myself better when problems arise. Problem solving has become much easier and less confusing when I appy the maxim of the stable datum.

A good history lesson

New Outlook on Life

Avalon completed Expanded Grade IV, Ability Release: The auditing processes of this Grade enable the person to view himself in relation to all life and free himself from any patterns of thought and action which, while seeming to promote one's survival, in reality, do any but. When one moves out of fixed conditions, he can experience a huge resurgence in the ability to choose, partake in and enjoy new activities. Moving out of fixed conditions and being able to do other things is attained at Expanded Grade IV. Here's what she has to say, "Grade IV was truly amazing! I feel like I have a new outlook on life! I feel that I can take on new things and I feel free from fixed ideas I used to have."

Children's Communication Course

Freedom from the upsets of the past

A.P. completed Expanded Grade Three! This auditing results in a person who is free from the upsets of the past with the ability to face the future. On Grade III processes one locates specific incidents where upsetting change occurred in life and addresses these so that they no longer adversely affect one. Some of the processes also enhance the ability of the individual to create positive change in himself or his environment. She says, "Grade III was awesome. I feel really good about being able to be okay with the past and to face the future confidently. I also know that I can cause changes for the good of myself and others. She says, "This is the last of the book and lecture courses so just getting through all of these is a win for me. The biggest win is just my understanding of Dianetics and Scientology. But, I wouldn't have gotten this understanding if I hadn't done these in sequence - what a difference that makes. There're definitely things that I can apply in controlling communication cycles and in handling people with communication alone. I understand so much more about the reactive mind, about facsililes and how they follow electronic phenomena, about games and how a thetn creates mysteries for himself by not-knowing and so gets himself stuck. I just know more as a preclear and what an auditor is trying to do in session. I know about how much trouble thetans get into with agreements and I know that once a thetan can take over the automaticity of his facsimiles, he's in control of them and it doesn't matter if they're erased or not.
