Expanded Grade III

Eric completed Expanded Grade III and says, "I really enjoyed this grade. I got a lot of change and it was OK. I also noticed that I am more aware of others and what they are doing and don't get get bothered by their decision or action to change. I also don't feel I have to go around changing everyone or walk on egg shells around people if they aren't how I want them. This is just some of what I got out of this. Change really is just change, nothing more than that, not harmful. It is all around and it is OK." Here is Eric with his auditor, Cindy.

Dianetics Study

Janet completed the Book and Lecture course for Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. She says, "I have read this book several times but this time was like the first time - very interesting, eye-opening and it makes so much sense and explains so much - everything about human behavior, everything. I know there is so much more to come but this is the definitive story of the human experience. We are privileged to have it - so let's use it!"

How to Use a Dictionary

Jarod completed a basic study course, How to Use a Dictionary. He says, "I learned how to use a dictionary. I learned italics. I like when I find the word in the dictionary."

Scientology Basics

Delancey (shown at right) completed the Science of Survival book and lecture course! Here is her success story: "This course was awesome. It is now real to me exactly how people act at every level of the tone scale. I am confident in my ability to spot people on the scale and now I know which people I want around me and not. It's all about converting entheta to theta and I can apply that to everything I do!"

Donna (at right working on her course) completed Milestone One course and says, "I really understand what we're all trying to do in Scientology and how really possible it is to have a safe and sane planet to live on and how we can do it. I got how important knowledge is and that the more you know about Scientology data, the more it helps you to align other data and use it to conquer the physical universe! Thanks to Ron for all of this and to everyone here who helps me and keeps this mission here for all of us."

Problems Release

Sterling, a college student and soccer player, completed Scientology Grade I, an auditing grade addressing help and problems. He says, "This grade was phenomenal. I now know that I'm a product. In regards to problems, I feel a lot less stressed about problems I've had as well as confronting future problems. This grade has given me the confidence to find solutions for all my problems and help me be more cause over them."

False Purpose Rundown Auditing

A being who has accumulated hidden destructive purposes contrary to his own survival will operate far below his potential. This rundown slashes straight to the root of false purposes and make them vanish. Mark completed the False Purpose Rundown Basic Form and says, "I didn't quite know what to expect from this auditing but as I got into it, I felt much freer and able to reach. Many confusions were cleared up and I am much more in control of myself with less effort."

It Takes Two to Tango!

Luciana and Mike Feeney delivered an amazing seminar and tango lesson at the mission on Saturday. Everyone had a fabulous time as you can tell from these photos!

Fundamentals of Thought

"WOW! What an amazing course! I’ll never be the same. This stuff about valences! Wow! I might be a hundred people in one! And so far from being myself. This is what I’ve been searching for years for: answers, facts and how to go about improving self. And even finding my true self. Can’t wait to find out who I really am! As far as life as a game, amazing! It really is! What a messed up game and character I chose. It’s crazy! All odds were against me. I couldn’t win. Thank god I didn’t die in the process. As far as me, I’m doing great! I feel I have hope now! This Scientology is remarkable. If only everyone knew, and weren’t content with their life or stuck on someone else’s lie. Someone else’s lie that became their truth. If only people would search for their own answers and find out what’s true to them. I’m so proud of myself for not taking anyone’s word for it or spending my life depending on blind faith. My goal always has been to change for the better and to one day be an example and help others! Basic Books Courses

Students in the Palo Alto Mission Courseroom continue to have super successes while studying the Basic Books Courses! Here are two recent completions and their success stories:
Mary completed the Science of Survival Book and Lectures course, "How true that Dianetics and Scientology are NEW. No matter that the book was written over 50 years ago or that I read it first years ago. It's new, it's vital and Science of Survival alone would boost this planet greatly."

Tim completed the Dianetics Book and Lectures course, "It is much clearer to me how having the ability to differentiate and distinguish things puts us above others to work successfully in the real world. Just being able to stop and rationally think about how things (mind) really works is truly gratifying."

The Way to Happiness

Harrison finished the extension course for the Way to Happiness book, a book by L. Ron Hubbard on a common-sense and non-religious moral code. He says, "This was very fun to learn and I look forward to applying it in life."

Scientology Course Completion

Donna completed the Handbook for Preclears and Life Continuum Course. Here is what she had to say: "On this course I really, really got how important knowing all this data that I'm getting is because even when I don't know what hidden data is actually there that is influencing me in present time, I can see that it is and analytically use that to change things in present time. I understand about 'maybes' and how that affects a person in doing things and planning the future. I also can apply this to me and better keep my own postulates out there and better make the physical universe agree with me instead of the other way around.
