Life Improvement Course Success

Joellen completed the Life Improvement Course, Overcoming Ups and Downs in Life. Here is what she had to say, "I have learned to name and recognize anti-social behavior and know that positive people are social behavior type people. I will apply this knowledge by simply being more aware of those people around me and with whom I associate.
I plan on moving forward with positive results in life. By doing this course I hope to eliminate roller-coastering, which is moving up and down emotionally and physically."

Grade II Auditing Completion

Scientology Expanded Grades consist of a series of auditing processes which restore to the individual specific abilities and lay a strong foundation for more advanced auditing. Expanded Grade II is also called "Relief Release" because the auditing on this level brings relief to a person from the hostilities and sufferings of life. Eric, Mission Executive and Professional Auditor, just completed this Grade and has this to say:
"This was really cool. It really handled a bunch of things for me on the subject of cause: being cause or being an effect. I was able to feel relief from both - things I have caused another and things another has caused me. I also found that I am less afraid to be cause and more willing to be cause. Before I was afraid of what might happen. This was a good grade. I feel lots less withheld to since I cleaned up that area. Thanks to my auditor, my case supervisor and Ron.

Emotional Tone Scale Course

Book Store Enlightenment System

The Mission has a Bookstore Enlightenment System which is very easy to use. There are excerpts from lectures by L. Ron Hubbard accompanied by video footage illustrating what is being discussed. You can stop by any time, select a lecture (Basics, Congresses or Classics), put on the headphones and become enlightened. Emotional Tone Scale Course

Jose just completed a course on the Emotional Tone Scale. He says, "I have had many wins on this course. Being able to use the Emotional Tone Scale to spot different people and where they actually are on the chart is great."

Success Through Communication Course

Roni just completed the Success Through Communication Course. This is a course which teaches 18 very specific communication skills to improve one's ability to communicate in business and social areas. New Era Dianetics Success

Eric has been receiving some New Era Dianetics auditing. He had a big win today and wrote a success story. Here it is:
"After my session it kept hitting me what had happened in my session. My win just kept on going. What I spotted really is the first time I started thinking, 'there must be something wrong with me.' and let me tell you I have had that thought many times, on a physical and mental aspect. It was really interesting that once I spottedwhat had happened and where I got that from, the whole thing blew! It's really hard to put into words what happened. Words just don't do this kind of win justice. Dianetics really is simple and it works."

Basic Study Manual Course

Romell completed the Basic Study Manual Course. This course provides a more comprehensive education in Study Technology than the other basic study books. It can be studied by middle and high school students and adults to improve their ability to use what they study, and also by professionals to improve their competence in the workplace. Robin wins studying the Basics of Scientology!

I’m lucky! I am currently studying the Basics Books and Lectures Course full time and I feel like I’m discovering Dianetics and Scientology all over again. The wins I’ve had span across my dynamics. My viewpoint of life and the world around me gets saner by the day because I’m getting the truth right from Ron. Studying these materials chronologically brings order to this vast body of knowledge. With this alignment, there is so much more understanding to be had.
And while my wins on a personal level are huge and could fill up pages, what I look forward to most is using this new certainty and knowledge at the mission. Happiness Rundown auditing

Jenna just completed the Happiness Rundown! This is an auditing action that L. Ron Hubbard developed based on the booklet The Way to Happiness, a nonreligious moral code based on common sense.
Ron says, "The object of the rundown is to clear up any confusions on the subject of morals, any and all transgressions against these specific morals, to slide the person out of the valence of any immoral person and obtain an EP (end phenomena) of a realization that one really is on the Way to Happiness."
Jenna said in her success story, "Before I did this, I would always tell myself that I was going to do things to help myself. They would never happen. Now I feel like I can do everything in order to be as happy as possible."

Success from a Field Staff Member on helping someone with Scientology

I am an FSM (Field Staff Member) for Palo Alto Mission. Recently I was having trouble with a junior at work - I caught him doing some dishonest things that would ordinarily get him fired in any work situation. Instead of firing him, I decided to get him some help by routing him onto the Personal Values and Integrity course at PA Mission. I told him not to come back until he was done with the course and then I'd see if I would hire him back. I chose this particular mission because of the very personal care they were willing to give. Well, two days later he finished the course and came back to me with a BIG change in viewpoint. He had lots of wins and insights - he said his vision went far. I could see he had changed, not only in relation to the job, but I could see the rest of hi life come into order where it had been chaos. So, I let him back on the job, he did TONS better! His sales stats were way up! His tone level was up! He was being honest and straight with me. What a product! This is after only two days! He got it. He is now winning greatly in life. Instead of experiencing a discreditable lose, he is creating great success with his new-found understanding of integrity tech. His life really was saved. He wants to do more services and will be routing onto Success Through Communication Course. This also is a major change. It took me 12 years to get him onto services. Now he WANTS to go. So, I would like to thank PA Mission for delivering excellent service. These people care and they are EFFECTIVE. SCIENTOLOGY ADVICE on Children

Problem: How do you, without using force, get a child to do things?

Solution: People think that persuasion works with children. It doesn’t. It’s communication that does the trick. You say, “Well, it’s time for you to go to bed now,” and he says, “No.” Don’t stay on the subject. Leave it alone and just talk about something else, “What did you do today?” “Where?” “How?” “Oh, did you? Is that a fact?” “Well, how about going to bed?” and the answer will be “Okay.”

One doesn’t have to use force. Go into communication with the child, and control follows this as an inevitability. Omit control from the beginning when bringing up a child and he who looks to you for a lot of his direction and control is gypped. He thinks you don’t care about him.
